The Indian Restaurant Summit 2024, hosted by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), took place in Chennai on September 26 and 27, 2024. This highly anticipated event served as a major platform for the restaurant industry, attracting over 1,200 restaurant owners and operators from more than 20 cities across India. With participation from over 60 esteemed speakers, the summit offered a plethora of insights and knowledge-sharing opportunities, ensuring that attendees were equipped with the latest trends and strategies necessary for success in the evolving restaurant landscape.

 

The summit featured a distinguished lineup of chief guests, including R. Sakkarapani, the Tamil Nadu Food and Civil Supplies Minister, and J. Radhakrishnan, Secretary of Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Furthermore, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) provided a platform for the NRAI to discuss its vision, initiatives, and the collective goals of its members, reinforcing the importance of community and collaboration in driving the industry forward.

 

Additionally, the summit embraced cultural elements through events like “Elai Sappad,” which highlighted traditional South Tamil Nadu cuisine and its significance in contemporary dining experiences. Another intriguing component, “NPL 2.0,” A cricket league played between NRAI Chapter members.
